Arakyta is seeking a full-time Senior SharePoint Developer to be based in the Toledo, OH area. This role is to act strategically as a resourceful and engaged, hands-on, software developer towards client process issues. Senior SharePoint Developers must have the ability to resolve challenging technical issues in line with client position requires a detail oriented individual with very strong emphasis on exemplary code and excellent customer support. The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize and work on multiple issues concurrently and deliver measurable results in a fast changing/evolving environment. The ability to self-manage is a must. This individual will perform problem analysis and code development, as well as performance analysis and support. The position will also be responsible for managing/improving any existing software solutions as well as helping to define and implement any new projects. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to provide regular communication between the client and the rest of the technical team and set proper client expectations. The final candidate will be able to support the current customer base as well as provide ideas/concepts to improve current offerings.
Required Skills
Expert level SharePoint Experience with SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 in mid to large enterprise deployments using best practices.
Expertise designing information architecture in SharePoint, including:
Web applications
Site collections
Site taxonomies
Content types
Metadata
Experience with page layouts and master pages.
Ability to create rich web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Excellent understanding of Out of the Box (OOTB) SharePoint Web Parts.
Ability to lead client engagements, negotiate and maintain project scope.
Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
Eagerness to learn and work outside your technology comfort zone.
Ability to be self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented.
Experience consulting directly with clients
Proficient with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (React, Node, Babel, ES2016)
Strong sensibilities for UX
Strong organizational and communication skills
Understanding of stateless application architecture
Understanding of REST
Job Requirements
Bachelors, Computer Science and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Minimum of Five (5) years of advanced experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and/or O365 administration (including Administration, Configuration, and Troubleshooting).
Experience utilizing SharePoint Designer to assist with site customizations.
Must be able to successfully troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at the Farm and Tenant level.
Knowledge of applications & web development (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript).
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Management and/or project management experience.
