Title: Sales Representative
Department: Chicago Sales Pressure Sensitive Division
Reports to: Sales Manager and Vice President
Compensation: $55,000/Annual (no commissions)
Job Objective:
Responsible for growing new customers in assigned territory through cold calling. Develops and implements agreed upon plan which will meet business goals of increasing new business. Works with customer service and manufacturing for the achievement of increasing revenue generation and customer satisfaction, along with company vision and values.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for selling pressure sensitive papers and films, tag stocks, blank die cut labels and specialty products within the paper industry.
Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above.
Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale.
Develops an understanding of pricing in the marketplace for the paper industry.
Develops sales projections in conjunction with the Sales Manager, which will focus the Sales Representative on meeting or exceeding the sales quota.
Develops and maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, mailings, faxes and emails within their assigned territory or specific accounts through Microsoft Outlook and CRM system.
Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Prospecting
Calling minimum of 50 contacts/day
All interactions must be recorded in CRM system
New Business
Achieve 1 new customer per month starting 2nd month of employment through 6th month of employment
Achieve 2 new customers per month starting 7th month of employment through end of 1st year of employment
Achieve 3 new customers per month after 2nd year of employment
Learn Industry Knowledge
Learn and understand P.S. industry by 6 months of employment
