Note: We are looking for a dynamic candidate to hire for a new Lincoln, NE account. The best candidate will have great attention to detail, strong customer service capabilities, and the ability to multi-task in an exciting work environment.
Position Overview: .
Responsible for productivity, quality and service, and continuous improvement with strict adherence to regulatory requirements while performing a venipuncture. Completes special assignments as assigned by the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the National Phlebotomy Manager.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
Two years Phlebotomy experience
High school degree with certification in related field preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA standards
Ability to communicate well through written and verbal means is required
Proficient with statistical and computer productivity software (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) required
Essential (other duties may be assigned):
Responsible for performing Phlebotomy Services for True Health Diagnostics (onsite and satellite services)
Knows, observes, updates, and implements the policies and procedures relevant to True Health Diagnostics Phlebotomy Services
Participates in the development and the implementation of policies relating to Phlebotomy Services
Responsible for all documentation relating to phlebotomy policies and standard operating procedures and making sure that they are up to date
Maintain knowledge and teach the proper procedure for the collection, processing, and shipping of blood for True Health Diagnostic?s testing
Performs routine blood drawing procedures, including venipuncture and finger stick, using standard equipment, as needed
Monitors the supply and reagent inventory to ensure the Phlebotomy Unit is stocked with consumables
Adhere to and uphold all applicable federal and state compliance regulations as well as True Health?s Code of Conduct and Ethical Responsibility, compliance policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare fraud, waste and abuse laws.
