Nurse Navigator/Infusion RN Job Opening in Boise, Idaho - Idaho Urologic Institute provides a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team and growing medical group! We are in search of a Nurse Navigator/Infusion Nurse (RN). The position provides the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of our patients. This individual will serve as a single point of contact for patients and/or family members to effectively communicate the patient?s plan of care and coordinate care with physicians and members of the healthcare team. The successful candidate will document interactions, outcomes, establish and maintain quality reporting, patient satisfaction and follow up adherence to care. The Navigator will also work closely with appropriate staff to build trust and a shared commitment to serving patients across all offices

Responsibilities may include performing, assisting with, and/or monitoring procedures, administering complex IV therapy, telephone triage, providing patient and family education and coordination of care, pre- and post-procedure assessment, and point of care testing.
Skills and Competencies:
Two years of clinical nursing experience required.
Previous experience working as a nurse navigator (care coordinator) for patients with complicated medical diagnosis preferred.
Current Idaho Registered Nurse or a Multi-State Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
Ability to utilize electronic health records and other technology necessary for setting.
Able to perform focused or comprehensive nursing assessments in person or via telephone, as applicable to specific practice setting and patient population.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care, resolving patient care issues, and working with patients and their families, often during stressful situations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organization and self-motivated.
Compensation depending on experience. This is a part time position but could evolve into a full time position.
