Sales and Marketing Job Opening in Orlando, Florida - Position Description
As a Sales Representative you'll be responsible for bringing in new customers and building upon currently existing accounts. The individual we're looking for must be highly motivated, with extensive sales experience in the produce industry. This individual must have the drive, energy, and vision it takes in order to bring in sales. The ideal candidate must also possess excellent communication skills in multiple mediums including email, phone, and face-to-face interaction.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Move existing inventory with optimum pricing;
Proficiently enter orders, make adjustments, generate sales reports and invoices;
Research, identify and develop new retail and wholesale account opportunities and devise methods to take advantage of these opportunities;
Prepare sales and call reports as requested;
Participate in retail store merchandising, trade shows, industry and company events as requested;
Proactively and professionally handle day-to-day sales while working closely with our buying and sales teams to achieve the company?s overall sales plan.
Requirements
Degree not essential, but sales experience necessary
2+ years produce experience
Bilingual a plus
Reliable, honest and dependable
Strong team player
Highly motivated with a positive, sales-driven attitude
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
