EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES for Engineering and Product Development Manager:
Must have Degree in Computer Science or related field
Must have strong analytical problem solving skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lead a team of Engineers and provide timely results
Must have excellent project management, workflow, and process documentation skills
Proven work experience in a commercial development environment, preferably in the Alarm and Security Industry
Strong knowledge or experience in mechanical design
Strong knowledge or experience in electrical design
Strong knowledge or experience in embedded programming
Strong knowledge or experience in object oriented design and programming
Must have immediate authorization to work in the US

Database Design
Applicants with the following experience or traits would be considered a plus:
Experience with Eclipse based development environment and debugging or other embedded development environments is a plus
Experience with Renasas and Freescale microcontrollers is a plus
Experience with real-time operating systems such as MQX or other
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
Knowledge and/or experience developing software using wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, and Bluetooth
