Tax Professional/CPA Job Opening in Durham, North carolina - Thomas, Judy & Tucker, a growing firm with offices in Durham and Raleigh, NC, is seeking tax professionals with public accounting experience to join our firm in a full time role. We are looking for professionals with experience in public accounting to be an integral part of our 100+ person staff. We are looking for candidates who have their CPA certification or are actively pursuing their CPA.
The firm?s practice is well developed and has a wide range of clients within the areas of manufacturing, real estate, non-profit agencies, low-income housing and construction. Our employees enjoy the opportunity to work closely with the owners and management of middle-market companies and established family-owned businesses.
The ideal candidate would have a range of experience preparing business and individual tax returns. Additional qualifications would include general accounting knowledge as well as experience with financial statement preparation. Experience with multi-state returns would also be a valued asset for the firm. Strong communication skills are required for managing and developing client relationships. Experience using CCH Prosystems Tax and Engagement trial balance software would be an asset to the candidate.
We offer 38 hour workweeks with half-day Fridays outside of tax season as well as reasonable expectations for hours during tax season.
