Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience.

This position will support the accounting needs of a multi-unit franchise within the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK ® system. The multi-unit Franchise Accounting Support Manager works closely with the Franchisee, General Manager and multiple Location Managers to help support financial operations and drive business performance by maintaining accounting systems related to preparing, analyzing, reviewing and interpreting various financial statements, records and reports for multiple franchise entities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Management of team of bookkeepers to ensure timely recording of all transactional level accounting

Oversee consolidated AR and AP functions

Management of Payroll functions

Contract management and vendor relations

Perform month end close including month end folder with supporting schedules for all reconciliations, etc.

Monthly Financial Review and Analysis

Create, maintain, and communicate budget

Monitor daily cash flow and bank transactions

Process and Policy management

Review and monitor tax return filings, payments, correspondence

Coordinate with outside accounting firm as needed

Report on tax status regularly

Other duties as assigned by the franchise General Manager and Owner

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for analysis of financial statements including trends and variances

Responsible for communications regarding financial statement results including monthly written reporting to corporate office as well as participation in meetings and discussions as to results

Responsible for monthly analysis of budget to actual results and corresponding communication

Responsible for working with various departments as to budget results and plans

Responsible for:
Daily AR processing

AR collection efforts

Daily AP processing

Visa expense reports

Ensure compliance, timeliness and accuracy of payroll processing with outsourced vendor

Assist with HR management

Management of employee payroll files

Review vendors, track metrics/standards

Monthly reconciliation of all sub-ledgers (cash, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, etc.)

Monthly reconciliation of trial balance with support

Submission of month end folder with supporting documentation

Assist in development of programs and processes for the franchises in conjunction with results and goals of the franchises

REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, financial accounting standards

Advanced knowledge of general ledger and related accounting systems

Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to work independently

Successful problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

Familiarity with software (QuickBooks)

Adept at learning proprietary software and custom integrations to accounting system
