Goals and Objectives: * Get customers up and running on our business software products by supporting installations. * Regular customer service calls * Improve installer programs * Provide excellent customer support by answering questions, solving problems, recording defects, or providing product feature and improvement requests. * Contribute to users being "delighted" with our products * Stimulate a user community of sharing best practices and uses of our products * Provide testing support for new products and versions * Automate internal business processes with tools, metrics and website automation * Move into development work or position is possible. * Some sales of add-on products or services may be required Activities to accomplish the goals: * Answer customer support calls or emails, record details and solve issues * Understand customer issue in a timely manner * Determine causes to customer issues through knowledgebase resources, testing/replicating the issue, and determining the root cause. * Provide solutions for customer or submit issues to development for resolution. * Provide suggestions to customer for further improvements * Follow-up with customers until issue is closed and resolved. * Conduct testing of new products and releases. * Create reports for customers through a report builder tool * Provide data conversion services for customers * Contribute to documentation updates, knowledgebase, blogs, forum articles to improve product and contribute to the High 5 Software branding and image of excellent knowledge and customer support. * Proactive calls to customers Successful individual must be able to communicate effectively with customers through email and phone, understand issues, determine root cause and provide solutions. Individuals must have good follow-up skills. High 5 solutions are comprehensive business solutions, often support issues are not routine issues but require solid analytic and problem solving skills. Successful individual must be patient with customers, thorough, and accurate. You must be able to completely understand our software solution as well as the customer business processes to support the software for business benefits. Must be an advocate of High 5 Software solutions. You should enjoy helping others succeed and providing excellent customer service. Skills Required * Problem solving * Customer service * Technical documentation and writing skills. * Knowledge with business software, SQL, databases, reporting tools, QuickBooks, or Field service business is desired. * Must either have a college degree or equivalent experience in technical software support. Educated in computer science is a plus. Skills required include Software solutions, customer service, technical support, and technical documentation. Specific Skill areas desired ? SQL Queries ? Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 or Azure ? QuickBooks ? Accounting, CRM, ERP, or Enterprise software. ? Windows XP, Vista, 7, Server 2000, Server 2003, Service 2008 or Small Business Server ? Crystal Reports or other reporting tools Salary depends on experience or education. Commission and/or bonuses possible. Most work will be in our Kenmore, WA office, however we provide some flexibility in schedule and some work at home. This can be a part time or full time position.
