Ritchey Mock & Associates, P.C. is a public accounting firm located in State College, PA, providing tax, accounting, payroll, and financial statement preparation and consulting services to individuals, small businesses, estates, trusts, and not-for-profits. We are seeking an entry level or experienced accountant to join our staff, with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the firm. The individual will be supervised and work will be reviewed, so no prior experience is required.
Responsibilities
Payroll and payroll tax processing - scheduled payrolls, payroll tax deposits, quarterly payroll tax return preparation.
General ledger accounting services - paying bills, entering monthly receipts and disbursements, balance sheet account reconciliations, trial balance and financial statement preparation.
Income tax return preparation.
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting or related field.
150 credits to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook) a plus.
