In the early 70�s, Michael Tait developed one of the first self�erecting ground support lighting towers, his signature creation became known as Tait Towers. Tait Towers specializes in Sets, Staging, Lifts, Tracking, Motion Control for touring shows and Live Multi Media Events. Skilled craftsmen work every level of a project to ensure the end result is superior to anything comparable. The company continues to experience an active production schedule which includes providing staging and scenery for The Rolling Stones, U2, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, The Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Tour, Martina McBride, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul McCartney, The Spice Girls, Super Bowl Halftime Shows, MTV VMA�s and many more. We are searching for an individual who is a CAD *Rock Star* !! The purpose of this position is to implement and maintain documentation standards for all Tait designed parts and show related inventory. The basic duties of this position include: - Provide quality assurance check for all documents deliverable - Track and monitor flow of all documents from inception to distribution of final copies - /maintain and manage drafting and documentation standards and procedures. - Work with design group to keep processes and standards company wide The ideal candidate will possess the following: - A Bachelors Degree - Five Years of mechanical design experience using cad software - Five years of drafting/detailing experience - Data management system administration experience - A strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft excel and word processing Must be dedicated to getting the job done. OT is required as needed.
