Event Rental Sales/Administrative Assistant Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - ~Part Time Position with possibility of advance to Full Time~
The CLUX Rentals seeks a passionate ?Event Rental Assistant? to perform and be responsible for administrative support for the Rentals Sales team. The candidate will assist a high volume, extraordinary Event Rentals Team with their day to day clerical and sales operational needs. As well as creating detailed proposals, with the ambition to deliver high-end, innovative event environments for wedding, corporate, non-profit and social events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent Customer Service Skills is a must; Outgoing, energetic with strong interpersonal skills
A great imagination, and the desire to become part of our sales teamAssist with proposals for Rentals Sales Team
Assist in the organization of events for Rentals logistics executionWork closely with CLUX Florals and CLUX Event Design Group on collaborating events
Work with CLUX logistics for preparation and organized deliveries
Become efficient with company?s software and office calendar
Maintaining incoming phone lines
Meet and Greet customers/vendors that enter the office with appointments and/or showing productsInitiative to take charge of in-house sales requests
Communicate to co-workers including sales staff, warehouse supervisor, clients and vendors
Ability to multitask, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal direction
Be a part of our creative team.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experienced administrative professional who is dependable and highly organized with business maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
Proven communication skills, both oral and written, including knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, punctuation and usage
Exemplary customer satisfaction skills; communicates in a helpful, pleasant and informative manner to a wide variety of people, both in person, email, social media and on the telephone.
Sales Experience a plus
Creative and innovative techniques for performing assignments and proposals
Strong demonstrated organizational skills with ability to prioritize job functions, meet deadlines and ensure smooth work flow and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining attention to details
Strong computer/technology skills: Mac and PC Operating Systems: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Participate with an imaginative team of associates, swiftly identify and resolve challenges
Capable of working effectively with frequent interruptions, changing priorities and conflicting deadlines
Most importantly, be passionate about the business!!!
MININUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the Rentals Industry, Special Events and/or Hospitality industry
Bachelor?s Degree Preferred
Minimum of one years? experience in a related field
