The Patient Services position works as part of the health care team in delivering a high level of patient care. In addition to a strong commitment to customer service, the ideal candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a busy office.
Responsibilities include:
Answer calls promptly and retrieve messages
Scheduling New and Follow-up Patient Appointments
Check in patients as they arrive, verify and update demographic information
Verify insurance and patient eligibility
Post charges and co-payments in system, balance daily transactions
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience in the healthcare field is highly preferred; Dermatology & Billing knowledge a plus
Strong computer skills
Attention to detail with strong ability to multitask.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
