The Rite of Passage Corporate Office is currently searching for a qualified candidate to grow with us and fill a new position for Regional Staff Accountant .

Rite of Passage is a nationally recognized academic, vocational, and athletic residential program for at risk youth. Our growing company is currently accepting applications for a qualified Accountant to fill a new Regional Staff Accountant position in beautiful Minden, Nevada, just minutes from Lake Tahoe and surrounded by endless beauty and outdoor activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s degree in accounting or related field and 3-5 years of current accounting experience and knowledge; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
Ability to perform work with little or no supervision.
Ability to effectively Communicate, verbally and in writing.
Must have excellent Organization and Time Management skills.
Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions.
Prepare and post Journal Entries, and perform Reconciliations.
Review Financial Statements
Regular meetings with Program Directors/Managers.
