About the Opportunity

We need a talented individual to fill the potential role of Technical Writer in support of the 711th Human Performance Wing?s mission to design and develop standardized Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC) processes in the Dayton, OH (WPAFB) area. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of activities, to include, but not limited to:
Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by IPT members.
Recommend photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
Study drawings, specifications, prototypes, and workflow and training artifacts to integrate and delineate operational procedures.
Format material for distribution on the enterprise?s knowledge management system.
Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 2 (two) years technical writing experience with one (1) year minimum in the healthcare sector.
Exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines and be an effective team player.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
Candidates will be subject to a National Agency Check (NAC) with written inquiries.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
Prior work experience in clinical operations.
Graphic design experience.
