Project Accounting Manager Job Opening in Marion, Massachusetts - Project Accounting Manager
General Contractor seeks Project Accountant to perform the following tasks:
-Work in conjunction with PM's to get bills from subs in along with all necessary back up and paper work
-Place all bills in proper format and AIA billing
-Ensure all labor, materials and sub bills are coded to the correct project
-Work in conjunction with Controller and PMs to provide accurate and timely Job Costing
-Assist in monthly Work in Progress Schedules and Hard Monthly Closes
-A/P Entry of overhead bills
-Code timesheets for in house labor
-Assist Controller on projects including preparation for audits, insurance audits and bank reviews
-Track and code all material purchases by the company to ensure correct
-Reconcile monthly material statements and ensure the costs are coded to the correct project.
-Ensure all vendors are charging correct pricing and annually put the business out to bid
-Must, must, must enjoy working with people
Experience in construction accounting would be very helpful. Must enjoy working with people and assisting subcontractors to submit invoices in proper format. Seek person willing to take on tasks and provide extremely thorough and detailed reporting/work product. Able to operate in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines with high quality work.
Position answers to the Controller.
This is a full time position. Salary $ 45-65k depending on experience. Health Insurance and retirement.
