Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant - Part-Time Job Opening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - EverGreen Facility Services is a growing commercial cleaning organization servicing the western PA area with its Corporate office in the Pittsburgh vicinity. We are looking for a proficient Quickbooks user to fill our part time Bookkeeper position. Starting hourly wage is $13.00 / hour.

Function:
This position will assist management with a variety of accounting principles and procedures utilizing Quickbooks and Microsoft software. There will also be an administrative component to the duties of the position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary point of contact for all A/R and A/P functions.
Prepare and issue monthly Client invoices and special project invoices upon completion of work.
Process, record and verify daily deposits, credit card payments and manage client accounts.
Pay vendor invoices in a timely manner per our prescribed protocol.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
Work with management to assist with receivables and collections and prepare statements and emails as necessary.
Reporting and submission of payroll and properly account for in accounting software.
Prepare and remit quarterly payroll tax filings to the proper taxing authorities.
Prepare monthly financial statements for the Executive team.
Journal entry support and data entry.
Complete Year End 1099 reporting processes and file all appropriate return information as required.
Answering telephones as needed.
Retrieve daily mail and process as necessary.
Filing of sensitive documentation.
Prepare new hire paperwork and maintain employee files.
Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
Other general administrative duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Superior computer skills, particularly in Quickbooks & Microsoft Office Suite.
Approachable and positive attitude a MUST.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and with professionalism both in writing and verbally even while under stress.
Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task, with attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
Ability to effectively maintain accurate and organized confidential records.
Demonstrate the highest level of integrity.
Experience with and adept at handling a variety of financially related tasks such as reimbursements, processing payments, etc.
Experience providing administrative support or managing own administrative needs in the workplace.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and interest in personal growth.
Qualifications:
Associate?s or Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, accounting, business administration, or equivalent business experience required.
At least Two (2) years of Quickbook / accounting experience and Two (2) years of office management experience in a professional, fast paced environment
Must be able to perform basic computer-related tasks such as email, creating and editing documents, scanning, etc.
Candidate MUST be able to pass a background examination and drug screening for employment.
