Commodity Purchasing Planner Job Opening in Watertown, South dakota - Pay Depends on Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years of age
Bachelors Degree in Business or 1-3 years of related experience.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel & Word.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent attention to details.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order raw materials for production through the ERP system.
Establish and maintain safety stock levels to prevent shortages for raw materials.
Expedite orders with suppliers.
Follow up on late orders with suppliers.
Set up LTL, FTL, FedEx and UPS shipments as required.
Assist CSR?s to set up penalty freight shipments as required.
Set up new parts in the ERP system.
Maintain the master inventory catalog in the ERP system.
Work with Quality Assurance and the supplier in the event of a supplier defect that could affect supply.
Assist accounting with credits debits and discrepancies.
Work on special projects as required.
Back up the MRO buyer as required.
Conduct analysis as required.
