Property Maintenance Helper Job Opening in des moines, Iowa - Property Maintenance Helper Property Maintenance Helper Local property maintenance company is growing and looking for a part-time knowledgeable, self-efficient and responsible individual that can meet company standards and requirements. Job Duties: Painting ? must have experience with airless paint sprayers and also must have general knowledge of steps and procedures prior to painting. Electrical ? must have general knowledge of replacing outlets, various types of light switches and fixtures. Plumbing ? must have general knowledge of replacement and repairs on kitchens and bathrooms as of faucets/supply lines, food waste disposals, sink traps, etc. Sheet Rock ? must have general knowledge of new sheet rock or repairs ? walls/ceilings. Lawn Care ? must have experience in operating lawn care equipment which includes mowers, weed eaters, shrub trimmers, tree pruners, etc. Exterior ? must have general knowledge of upkeep and beautification of properties which includes windows, doors, siding, roofing, etc. Company Requirements: All applicants are required: ? Must have a valid DL with proof of insurance. ? Must be able to work well in customers homes and/or place of business. (Respectful and Honest) ? Must be able to represent company in appearance (no garments with holes or tears) and physical hygiene. ? Must be able to work efficiently when unsupervised and able to meet deadlines along with multi-tasking. ? Must have own tools for property maintenance. Hand tools, power tools, etc. ? Must be able to lift 75 lbs. ? Must be willing to work in surrounding areas. ? Must be willing to adapt to company policies and standards. All applicants must be flexible in work schedule 2-4 days per week and willing to work more hours if needed. Hours 8am-5pm. Compensation based upon experience and references.(references a plus but not required) $10.- $15 hr.
