Senior Credit Analyst Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Senior Credit Analyst
Summary:
This position will provide general support for the credit functions of United Energy Corporation and its subsidiary companies. The position is responsible for working with Trading and Marketing personnel in the energy sector daily, monitoring Wholesale/Trading commodity exposures, corporate securities and bank credit lines along with compliance functions and various projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Distribute daily credit exposure reports
Communicate with external counterparties and their representatives in search of information to make informed credit decisions
Perform financial statement analysis and assess counterparty risk
Follow up, both internally and externally regarding financial statements, legal documents and trading agreements
Assist in maintaining United Energy Corporation?s credit policies
Assist in managing the company?s cash flow and liquidity
Assist with internally and externally issued securities
Assist with monthly bank reporting
Review and easily understand energy transactions
Multitask daily responsibilities with timely projects

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Education:
Minimum of 5 years? work experience in the energy marketing sector or a related field
BA/BS in Accounting / Economics / Finance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization skills with the ability to make informed decision within a tight deadline
Self-driven who takes accountability for responsibilities
Preferability has experience with trade capture system such as Monaco and Right Angle
Knowledge of Microsoft office systems
