Accounting Manager Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Well known Johnson County Company is actively searching for an Accounting Manager to add to their rapidly growing organization.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:
Oversees staff level and transactional associates
Review completed accounts payable runs and reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the accounts payable process
Administer payment disbursements
Prepare the annual 1099 tax statements
Run month end close of accounts payable sub ledger
Provide year-end audit support and assist with audit questions
Oversee process improvements for department
Train and evaluate employees; address any issues
Skills required for Accounting Manager:
5-7 years accounting supervisory experience or accounts payable management
Supervisory experience a must
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience with large ERP system preferred
Good communication skills
