Jr. Software Developer Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Pleiotek is recruiting for a Full Time Software/Web Developer to work in Washington DC, Tampa, FL, or Remote area for an upcoming contract.
The Software Developer will support a Web application written in C# and Angular that uses a SQL Server backend. The developer will develop and maintain the application, database and troubleshoot problems as is needed.
The Software Developer should have experience in using Agile SCRUM, designing complex software, and developing software from requirements. The Software Developer should be familiar with concepts of Object Oriented Design, Service Oriented Architecture, Relational Databases. Familiarity with C#, JavaScript, Angular and SQL database technologies is highly desired.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance and pass a background check. As we are unable to sponsor employees through this work, no H1-B , OTP, CTP visa applicants will be considered.

Applicants must currently reside in the Washington DC Metro Area or in the Tampa, Florida greater area.
Requirements
Minimum BS in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline
1-3 years of progressive development experience in one or more major development languages including /C#
Knowledge of tools for Agile Development to include JIRA/IBM Jazz, Continuous Integration, GIT repositories
Familiarity with Relational Databases including Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with Web Development , HTML5
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
