Our Position: Business Analyst

The Business Analyst has the unique opportunity to develop and produce reporting related to vendor, hospital, and internal performance as well as conducting research activities and special projects at the behest of hospital clients.
Performs statistical analysis of large data sets to better understand trends, relationships between variables, and to formulate predictive insights.
Reasons independently ? complex data architectures.
Utilizes technology to automate internal processes
Employs new research tools to derive unique findings for publications.
Designs and builds publication-ready data visualizations using diverse sets of structured and unstructured data.
Ensures research reports are created using credible qualitative and quantitative methodologies based on key insights and findings from studies.
Coordinate internal and external personnel in the completion of projects and communicate in a timely manner all issues, risks, concerns, and status to management.
Plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software and hardware
Make financial evaluations and proposals regarding current and/or future hardware and software
Provide team guidance and systems expertise to team members assigned for specific tasks in accordance with established standards and practices for the systems being supported.
Qualifications
Preferred health care, report development experience
At least 1 year of Strong SQL querying experience and Tableau server experience preferred
At least 1 year of experience creating storyboards in Tableau.
Seek a self-starter who can work effectively as a member of a team or independently as the particular assignment requires.
An understanding of UI/UX design concepts.
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical aptitude and an understanding of statistical methods.
Strong project management and leadership abilities.
Ability to train end users in the proper use of Business Analytics solutions.
Develop and maintain new skills to accomplish assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance
