Repair Technician Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - A&R Medical Supply is an accredited and established home medical equipment provider in New Mexico. We're looking for an experienced Repair Technician to repair, diagnose and install durable medical equipment. This includes the provision and repair of scooters, power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs & walkers. Installations and service of vehicle lifts, stair lifts and bath grab bars. All mechanical, technical, repair and installation experience will be considered. Certain training will involve travel.
Company: Locally owned and operated corporation. Estimated 50 employees. 5 Locations.
Shift: Full time. Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) with some on-call duties.

Pay: Early to late teens per hour to start contingent on experience
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid & Insurable Driver's License
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- General mechanical aptitude
- Must be organized, able to problem-solve, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Provide and be proficient with standard hand and power tools (SAE and Metric Sockets, Wrenches and Allen Wrenches, Wire Stripper/Crimper, Drill)
- Applicants must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Direct Current Electricity
- Basic understanding of a multi-meter
- Basic computer and data entry knowledge base
Physical Requirements:
- Routine walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, reaching, and twisting
- Must frequently up to 55 pounds
- Occasionally up to 100 pounds
