MS Access/SQL Server Specialist / Database Engineer Job Opening in raleigh, North Carolina - MS Access/SQL Server Specialist / Database Engineer Versatrim Job Overview: In this position you will be responsible for further development and modification of an existing MS Access/SQL Server based in house inventory/customer service database. Formal education in or related field experience with this type of work is required. Desired Experience � The desired candidate will have experience with Access 2003/2007 � Tables, Forms, Queries and Reports;. � The desired candidate will know how to build basic queries in Access and write equivalent T-SQL queries in SQL Server 2005/2008. � The desired candidate will have experience with writing/maintaining VBA Code in Visual Basic Modules. � The desired candidate should have a basic understanding of relational databases, including primary and foreign keys, joins, and normalization up to third normal form. � The desired candidate should know about the different data types in Access and SQL Server and when to use them. � The desired candidate should have experience in the Analysis and Design of system applications and business processes, using established system analysis, business and system process design, diagramming data and process mapping. 40 hour work week competitive Health Care Plans Simple IRA Paid Vacation raleigh nc north carolina
