The Spirit of the Position:
LAZ Parking is seeking a motivated individual to join the Audit team as an auditor specializing in P arking A ccess & R evenue C ontrol S ystems (PARCS). This IT Auditor will report to the Vice President of Operational Excellence. Primary responsibilities will be to audit PARCS systems, assist in setting up PARCS systems at new facilities, work closely with the IT Department to continually identify new threats and develop protocols to protect the company and its clients from those threats. This position encompasses many responsibilities related to information technology, auditing of PARCS systems, PCI compliance, and system administration.

This position resides in our Home Office in Hartford, Connecticut and should expect to travel at least once per month, up to three times per month for 2-3 nights per trip. The IT Audit position requires more knowledge on the audit side than on the technical side.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audit PARC systems

Oversee the set-up of PARCS systems on new locations.

Collaborate with the training department in the development of training modules aimed at educating operating teams on PARCS.

Administer system application for all users.

Identify patterns of issues/errors with PARCS and work with vendors to resolve.

Review, analyze and suggest process improvement.

Recommend new and improved ways to support the operations teams relative to the use and management of PARCS.

EDUCATION:
BA/BS in Information Technology, Business or Computer Science

CERTIFICATIONS:
National Parking Association ? Certified Parking Professional (CPP) ? Preferred
Information Systems Audit and Control Association ? Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) - Preferred

EXPERIENCE:
Three or more years of experience in the use, repair, set up of at least seven different PARCS systems.

Experience with troubleshooting PARCS end-user issues and problems (technical and non-technical).

Experience configuring applications and troubleshooting configuration issues.

Multi-location company experience preferred.

Writing professional and instructional emails to user groups.

Ability to run parallel tests and constantly testing new system features and rollouts.

Ability to coordinate system upgrades and implementations.

SKILLS :
Solid understanding of computer networks and web communication.
Understanding of, application programming and IT support services.

Proven ability to self-manage and organize multiple tasks through to completion.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy required.

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities

Proven ability to manage projects and work within deadlines.

Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
