Staff Accountant - Asset Management Job Opening in Old Greenwich, Connecticut - Asset management firm has a great opportunity for a Staff Accountant!!! In this role, the Staff Accountant will assist in strategic planning and providing financial analysis. Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant include:
Assist in financial operations of multiple US entities
Review and control entries to general ledgers
Manage and control the Accounts Payable process
Enter supplier invoicing and expense reports
Analyze company ledger accounts
Manage company cash flow and reconcile all cash accounts
Prepare financial statement reports
Gather and analyze data and reporting to management
Develop and implement enhanced accounting processes and procedures
Analyze current global business processes, maintain documentation, assist in efficiency initiatives for new business processes, construct workflow charts and diagrams
Must have 4+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Strong knowledge of foreign currency accounting and reporting
CPA strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills are required and will be evaluated as part of the interview process
Excellent written and oral communication skills
