Job Summary
We are seeking to hire an exceptional, talented Staff Accountant with a focus on customer service to join our team of Finance professionals. You will be responsible for providing high quality, error free accounting services to the business and excellent customer service to a high net with customer base of condominium association owners.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in month end closing process, account analysis, problem resolution.
Prepare monthly recurring, accrual and adjusting Journal Entries.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly affiliated receivable billings .
Post charges to owner accounts in CondotelWare daily and monthly.
Balance and reconcile monthly revenue.
Maintain current owner information in databases.
Balance owner accounts and generate statements to send to owners monthly.
Remit payment to owners if revenue is due on a monthly basis.
Manage owner accounts and collect on accounts receivable.
Prepare monthly aging for management review.
Manage all other owner inquiries regarding their billing, rental revenue, FF&E reserve account and all other concerns in a timely manner.
Assist with process improvement & special projects as needed.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years hospitality or condominium management accounting experience preferred.
Experience with hotel/property management accounting software (One World, CondotelWare, LMS, etc.).
Exceptional customer service skills.
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (as you will be dealing directly with Owners).
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independent and make quality decisions.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work flexible hours when needed to meet deadlines
