Education: Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance MBA Business ? preferred
Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
Work Experience:
Solid GAAP knowledge
Understanding of accounting operations (AR and AP)
Knowledge of COGS and WIP
Maintain Intercompany Account Produce Standard and Accrual Journal Entries Perform Account Reconciliations for all Asset and Liability Accounts Reconcile Bank Accounts
Execute Month End Closings on the First Day of the month Produce Annual Budgets reflecting parameters of Departmental Business Plans Maintain Payroll System in Sage Produce Monthly Financial Statements
Produce Bi Weekly Payroll Produce and File required State and IRS Payroll Reporting Produce and File Monthly Florida Sales & Use Tax Assist in Establishing Credit Limits for New Customers Liaise with Marketing to maximize customer base Maintain and Process Accounts Payable Perform ROI Analysis on Capital Projects
Assist in Accounts Receivable Other Duties as Necessary Knowledge of Sage
Knowledge of Excel and formulas (VLOOKUP, IF statement)
