Position Purpose
A training position designed to execute as an on-premise and off premise Sales Representative and execute focus duties. Position will strive to grow distribution and sales in on-premise and off premise accounts for products distributed by High Country Beverage (HCB) when running vacation/sick day routes. Strive to complete sales goals, retail account standards, distribution objectives and overall quality assurance of HCB products while working at retail. Represent High Country Beverage at special events; perform hand-sells and merchandising projects as requested by HCB management.
Principal Accountabilities:
Learn to execute as an on-premise & off- premise sales representative and execute Focus duties.
As a position running sales routes, position will:
Maintain required call frequency and achieve sales goals and objectives; maximize draught sales, execute price features and promotional activities. Manage account inventories of HCB products.
Special Event Support: Position will have a dotted line reporting responsibility to the Marketing Manager for special event support including set-up, tear-down and week-end delivery to special events. Week-end hours worked will be taken into consideration for time off during the week to maintain a target of 50 hours worked per week.
Understand and complying with all quality assurance guidelines of HCB Suppliers. While running vacation/sick day routes, position will maintain and monitor product quality and freshness of all HCB products in on-premise accounts.
Develop and maintain excellent customer rapport.
Responsible for adhering to HCB credit regulations and policies and collects outstanding debts within the HCB credit policy.
Maintains proper upkeep of Company vehicles used and observes safe driving habits when operating all Company vehicles.
Understands and complies with all local, state and federal regulations along with all HCB policies and procedures.
Leadership
All Sales positions at HCB are considered leaders in the HCB organization. As such, position will maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Position will be asked to perform duties above and beyond the normal from time to time, and expected to cheerfully perform such duties. Position expected to be a positive role model for other HCB employees.
