In our Sales Finance role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Sales & Marketing teams on designing and implementing retail finance programs to serve Vortex customers. You will interact with a cross-functional team of passionate business builders, developing pricing strategies, building P&L analyses and supporting customers from a commercial finance perspective. We are looking for someone who loves to hunt for win/win opportunities for our customers and has a passion for helping grow Vortex Nation!
What You?ll Be Doing
Collaborate with Sales Management and Marketing to develop customer programs that support new distribution
Partner with team leaders to establish and forecast sales, financial plans, operating budgets and monitor results against that plan. Provide in depth analysis and explanations of variances.
Maintain records that support current customer programs, ensuring that appropriate trade programs are established, accruing properly and reconcile against these fund balances on a periodic basis
Uphold and guide pricing strategy for the Vortex Sales team in conjunction with key input from Sales Leadership
Support key accounts to insure accurate P&L assessments are captured and updated throughout the year
Manage internal and external expectations, ensuring daily project deadlines and priorities are met within all teams/departments to meet or exceed customer expectations
Lead employees through effective hiring, orientating, mentoring and coaching. Provide ongoing recognition, feedback and development, holding staff accountable for a positive customer experience
Experience and Skills Needed
Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 5-7 years Finance experience, preferably in a consumer product or retail environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Possess a high degree of initiative and motivation; a willingness to help fellow Vortex departments and customers
Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
SAP experience preferred
Financial analysis and sales forecasting experience required
