Full-Charge Bookkeeper for Professional Bookkeeping Services Firm
We are an established small bookkeeping firm with an immediate opening for a full-charge bookkeeper. The right candidate must possess strong accounting and payroll skills and be proficient with all functions in QuickBooks Desktop / Online. Our bookkeepers are responsible for several client accounts, working directly with them in our Frederick office and at client locations. Services we provide include payroll processing and reporting administration, accounts receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliations, job costing, production of financial reports, year-end filings and coordination with client CPAs for tax return preparation. In addition, we perform a variety of other services as needed, such as grant tracking and reporting assistance, specialty report prep through Excel and other software, QuickBooks setup, clean-up and training.
This position requires someone confident in their understanding of accounting principles, with an inherent ability to question and troubleshoot problems, able to juggle competing priorities, friendly and professional, possessing a great work ethic and a positive attitude. You must be able to work independently and equally willing to recognize when to collaborate.

Requirements:
QuickBooks proficiency
Experience with payroll processing and federal/state reporting
Completion of college level accounting principles
Aptitude using MS Office products ? Excel, Work, Outlook
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot problems and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication
QuickBooks Pro Advisor accreditation a plus
Tech savvy a plus
Our normal office hours are 9 am ? 5 pm. Casual professional dress code.
