Software Engineer Job Opening in Millville, New jersey - Pentagon Performance Inc. is currently recruiting for a Software Engineer to join our team working at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. (Subject to proposal acceptance and contract approval).
The Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting software design, development, maintenance, testing and interface of software with computer hardware systems. Moderate to advanced experience in RedHat/CentOS or similar Linux Operating Systems is required. Proven skills and experience in all or a combination of the following areas is preferred:
Languages: C/C++, Java, or similar object-oriented language
Platforms: Weblogic, SOA, JMS
Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
Software: Familiarity with modern repositories such as Subversion or Git, and experience working with XML
Experience with SQL or other databases is a plus
Experience with VMWare/Citrix virtual environments or equivalent a plus
Adaptability in a software environment
Documentation skills
MUST BE CLEARED OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN APPROPRIATE SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL UP TO AND INCLUDING SECRET LEVEL.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or other related discipline, and at least 5 years of experience is required.
