Currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer (Client Facing) to fill a senior level position in the Parsippany, NJ area. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree and have at least 4 years of experience in a hands on Java development role; can analyze existing Java code.
Responsibilities of the Senior Java Developer
Under the guidance of the Solution Architect, advise on our technical implementation approach and help to rationalize software architecture choices.
Work with Solutions Architect to shape solution during definition stage.
Support deployment and configuration efforts with our clients (code merging, continuous integration).
Provide technical Implementation Support during different test stages.
Perform some development, code reviews and analysis of existing code.
Write functional tests using our proprietary framework.
Provide production support and can resolve issues when required.
Support Solutions Architect in pre-sales support and customer presentations.
Requirements of the Senior Java Developer
BSc or MSc educated
Minimum 4 years of experience in a hands on Java development role; can analyze existing Java code
Expertise working with Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), struts, and Java Message Service (JMS)
Minimum 1 years of Oracle or other RDBMS experience
Minimum 1 years of experience in a client role
Able to travel up to 25% and available to travel worldwide
life-cycle experience covering: design, configuration, coding, testing, implementation and documentation
Good troubleshooting skills
Experience with payments or banking is a huge plus
Work to deadlines and can escalate issues effectively
Excellent communication, written and team skills
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities
Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to work alone
Adaptable to working with different clients and cultures in locations across the UK, US and Continental Europe

Salary: $100,000.00 to $124,000.00 /year
