The Client Services Manager is responsible for ensuring abeo billing standards are met on each client, must be able to communicate standards to and drive performance through team leads, prepare and analyze monthly reports to Client Relations Manager (CRM). Minimum 2 yrs in rev cycle and ability to manage through team leads. Minimum Associates degree required. A Client Services Manager must comply with applicable laws regarding billing standards, and be able to motivate a team to strive to provide superior service to anesthesia providers throughout the country.
Essential Functions and Tasks
Training Team Leads/Employees
Monitoring team lead/employees workloads & ensuring completion
Serve as a resource to team lead/employees to answer questions, resolve issues
Work closely with the other managers to develop a strong, unified team
Encourage and motivate team members by creating a positive atmosphere and work environment
Communicates status of all accounts and employee performance to Client Manager. Makes recommendations for improvements.
Review Client metrics weekly (AR balance, % to collections, trends positive or negative) notify CRM
Ensure monthly close by appropriate date
Review month end metrics
Provide monthly reports to CRM
Ensure Team Lead performs and provides results of quarterly audits of Billing Specialists
Assist team members in completing work
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor?s degree preferred
Proven success in supervising employees
Medical billing experience required, anesthesia preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to make decisions in a timely fashion that are sound, accurate and supported by the reasoning and inclusion of appropriate people
Must be able to supervise and motivate a team of employees
Ability to identify and resolve issues with regard to employees, patients or providers
Must be able to prioritize and accomplish objectives in a timely fashion
Demonstrate proficiency as a Billing Specialist 2
Office Skills
Basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner
Become proficient in use of Medsuite software within 4 weeks
Maintain proficiency in use of Medsuite software
Touch-typing skills, 40 wpm required, 50 wpm preferred
Basic touch 10 key skills
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
