Office/Operations Manager Job Opening in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Established, highly-regarded Chattanooga non-profit seeks a professional office/operations manager to assume responsibility for daily operations and facilitate its continued growth and success. The office/operations manager will directly supervise the small office staff, assist with marketing and development, perform human relations functions, and handle contingencies throughout the organization, reporting to the Director.
Office functions to be managed include appointment setting, client intake and return, records, client payments, and cash management. This person will be trained on dedicated industry software in order to train office staff and augment the staff when necessary. Development functions include donor management, donor database maintenance, events, traditional marketing, and coordination with personnel responsible for the organization?s website, social media, and other online marketing. Other functions include facility management, inventory and purchasing of supplies, and supporting the back-office staff of six as needed.
Applicants must have a minimum of ten years of work experience and five years of verifiable office experience, including two years as an office manager responsible for supervising employees. Must be fluent in Windows and Microsoft Office and able to handle basic accounting. College-level business education and knowledge is a plus. Evenings and/or weekends may occasionally be required for events.
