Physician Assistant-Certified - Neurology (Hospital Based) Job Opening in Rome, Georgia - Seeking Board Certified (or eligible) Physician Assistant to become part of our Neurology Hospitalist provider team.
Minimum 2 years experience as a PA preferably in the neurosciences specialty or inpatient environment. Willing to train candidates with experience in other specialties who offer references to affirm excellence in clinical and professional performance of duties.
Position is located in Rome, GA and offers the opportunity to serve directly under one of our Neurologists as a member of a specialized inpatient care team supporting two hospitals (within a two mile radius).
Scope of Practice includes:
Hospital rounds and consults; some possible weekend support call (1 per month)
Schedule is Monday - Friday; 7/8 am until 4/5 pm - some flexibility of schedule may be available and open for discussion as long as overall needs of service are met and meet with supervising physicians' needs for patient support.
Working within a state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record environment (hospitals and clinic) provides ease of access to patient health history and optimizes the delivery of quality care to our patients.
Ability to effectively build and manage relationships with our patient community is critical to the success of this service. Must be able to work within the scope of practice guidelines and appropriately direct patients for follow-up care as their healthcare needs dictate.
