Warehouse Assistant Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Portland based Grow and Make () is the largest manufacturer of DIY Kits in the world. We have been in business for 10 years and have had solid growth each year. We are committed to sustainable business practices and making our customers happy.
The role is either 30 or 40 hours, depending on your preference.
30 hours work benefits include tri-met reimbursement, We also have an employee lounge, free snacks and drinks and soon a ping-pong table.
40 hours work benefits include PTO and full health benefits plus bonuses.
The role is manufacturing and assembling of our DIY craft kits. The tasks change from day to day. You will also have the opportunity to take on other responsibilities as needed. There will be a one month trial period with a starting pay of $12 hr.
The role may also include others responsibilities like customer support, assisting with fulfillment and shipping.
Qualifications:
Computer and internet literacy, including familiarity with Google Cloud tools such as Drive, Spreadsheets, Calendar and Mail
Ability to work collaboratively with others as well as independently.
Good communication skills and ability to pay attention to details.
Capable of following instructions and completing tasks with little supervision.
Organized and efficient, with excellent problem solving, time management and multitasking skills.
Ability and willingness to learn and perform a wide variety of tasks.
Ability to pay attention to details and help us to ensure quality in our production to bring your excitement and creativity to a growing company.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for the majority of your shift.
Awesome, but not required:
Experience with phone support
Experience with online commerce such as Amazon, Ebay and EtsyExperience with crafting and other artistic endeavors.
Experience with bookkeeping and/or accounting.
Experience with account/customer support.
Experience with online marketing (SEO, SM, Advertising).
