Cook/Food Prep Job Opening in Sheboygan, Wisconsin - A Continuum of Care dedicated to providing our Residents with Safety, Comfort and Happiness
A Cook in our Dinning Services department will genuinely be interested in providing warm, friendly and personalized customer service to our Residents, their family/friends, and the staff. They will prepare foods and operate larger volume cooking equipment all the while ensuring safe and sanitary food handling practices.
The ideal candidate is energetic, organized and has strong multitasking abilities. They should be committed to learning and complying with health care standards of food preparation for nursing homes. This position requires a candidate that can handle a high volume of preparation and short order cooking. The Cook does stand for long periods of time, lifts up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 50 lbs. at times. A High School diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year cooking experience is required . Experience in Long Term Care or Healthcare is desired but not required. Candidates should be able and willing to help in any area of dining services department as needed.
