RN Clinical Informatics Specialist Job Opening in Cumberland, Wisconsin - We are currently searching for a Registered Nurse Clinical Informatics Specialist. The RN Clinical Informatics Specialist will use clinical expertise to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation used for measuring and reporting patient care and outcomes, coding compliance and regulatory requirements. This position involves working with all clinical staff and providers. This position will also provide ongoing staff education and training related to the EMR, as well as other organizational applications.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (BSN preferred), Licensed as a RN in WI, Experience in health data management preferred, 3-5 years Clinical Nursing (2-3 of those with use of an electronic health record), Excellent nurse-physician relationships, Documentation systems and interoperability, Demonstrates a balance of patience and assertiveness, Strong understanding of all hospital/clinical departments and how they relate in regard to the Electronic Medical Record, and Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
