Territory Sales Representative - Orange County Job Opening in Orange, California - Help take our brewery to the next level! This position will increase sales and brand awareness. Job description: We are looking for hungry individuals with experience in the beer industry to represent our brand in Orange County. The Sales Representative is responsible for on-premise and off-premise sales in the county. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prospects new business by determining focus areas within territory, setting appointments, and utilizing stop-by techniques.
Establish relationships with store owners and bar managers.
Work with distributor to meet sales goals and objectives.
Set up and participate in in-store promotions, beer dinners, festivals, and special events. Festival events frequently occur on weekends.
Organize an efficient schedule including a daily route along with a monthly, quarterly and yearly plan.
Look at territory with entrepreneurial eyes to seek out new opportunities to increase sales and penetration.
Plan and participate in regular distributor training activities including presenting at sales meetings, riding with distributor sales personnel, and distributing new sales materials and samples to sales staff.
Coordinate ordering with distributors to ensure adequate inventory for each sales period.
Prepare timely paperwork in a neat, legible, and professional manner.
Thorough and up to date reporting on all existing and target accounts utilizing a mobile CRM and Excel spreadsheets.
Key skills and requirements:
A minimum 2 year of sales experience.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
Requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage one's self and work in an efficient manner and interact with others effectively and professionally.
This position is located in San Diego and is not eligible for relocation benefits. Preference given to candidates with local market knowledge and experience.
