Working Manager in chemical production Job Opening in tulsa, Oklahoma - Working Manager in chemical production Part of Management team with growing company. Since 1981, company has made and created formulations for food and pharma and even specialized industrial applications. This job is essentially a working Plant or Operations Manager. Learning everything and participating in everthing with unlimited potential for company and, so, individual growth. A chemical or agricultural background (managing a farm or range is good experience) is helpful. Mechanical apptitude is a must - maintaining pumps and filter systems, ability to drive a fork lift; ability to maintain a well organized and complete inventory of tools and parts, an integrity that is beyond reproach; a devotion to your work; reliability; ability to work with truck drivers as well as management; clear handwriting and documentation experience so computer skills a plus is no desk job. PVC plumbing a plus but the main things are: responsibility from start to finish with maintaining inventory of products; with handling the last minute customer orders, with maintaining a daily auditable, clean, organized facility withOUT buying a new hose every week. This is NOT someone who makes a chart for OTHER people than sits back and says their job is done. This is someone who learns the current products/processes and becomes the expert on them while building and putting together basic equipment for new processes. You MUST prove you do, the rewards are great. If you don't, you will not last long. Do not apply if you are a mere laborer who must have daily direction. This is not the position for you.
