AVL Environments is an Audio, Video, Lighting design build contractor that serves the following markets: Corporate, House of Worship, Retail, Education, and Event Venues. We focus on helping our customers create engaging, functional, environments through creative Audio, Video and Lighting system design.
We are a growing company currently looking for a highly motivated individual for our available Outside Sales Representative position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for building a customer base in the area of integrated and portable audio, video, lighting systems by selling AVL solutions to our primary markets which include:
Corporate presentation systems, video conferencing systems, boardroom systems.
House of Worship AVL
Performance Theaters
Clubs, Entertainment Venues, Restaurants
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell audio, video, lighting and control systems designed and installed by AVL Environments.
Develop a detailed understanding of AVL Environment?s products and installed solutions.
Expand the AVL Environments? general market base, specifically but not limited to the Raleigh/Durham and Charlotte, NC areas.
Perform active and ongoing prospecting both locally and across the U.S.
Leverage Social Media to promote AVL Environments and customer relationships. Develop an online presence showcasing AVL Environments? body of work.
Develop help marketing materials for your customers. Assist with hosting training events for customers and prospective customers.
Generate engaging sales proposals for customers utilizing bidsketch.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Clean NC Driver's License
Self-Motivated, Highly Organized
Punctual, trustworthy, and dependable
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Able to Multi-Task and prioritize responsibilities
3 Years of Audio, Video, Lighting Sales Experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
5 Years of Audio, Video, and Lighting Sales Experience
CTS, CTS-D Infocomm Certification
Proven Track Record of Sales Ability
Familiarity with Apple Computers, Google Online Productivity Apps (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
Marketing Experience
Graduate Degree
This position is full time, 40 hours per week.
Commission Based, Tiered percentages, Percentage Bonuses with Base Salary Option
