Continued growth requires the expansion of our Team. We have an opening for an Accountant. Some of the responsibilities of the position include:
Invoicing: Oversee the complete AR cycle: credit approval, lien waivers, lien notices, credit memos, account hold status, payment receipt.
Payroll: Track employee time to accurately cost (weekly) labor to jobs. Enter payroll online, in our payroll processor?s system.
Job Costing: Manage and improve our systems to report a profit & loss statement on a job-by-job resolution.
Accounts Payable: Oversee the complete AP cycle.
Inventory management: Oversee monthly cycle counts, annual physical inventories, daily paperwork process tracking equipment received, shipped, purchased, and sold/consumed. Data entry to keep inventory perpetually up-to-date in (new) Sage 100 system.
Reporting: Monthly financials, accounts receivable analysis, cash flow analysis, job cost reports, equipment utilization.
Purchasing: Write costed POs. Manage and improve the ?triple-match? payable receipt: PO+receipt+vendor invoice. Consolidate vendor relationships to save money and time. Coordinate with Operations team to manage critical parts in stock.
Supervision: Supervise Office Assistant.
HR: Manage all HR functions for the company: new employee orientation, policy/procedure admin and interpretation, benefits admin, best practices.
Other:
General financial and accounting support to the Sales, Operations, and Labor teams.
Implement Sage 100 ERP (formerly MAS 200) accounting system and transition from our legacy Sage 50 (Peachtree) system.
Collaborate with our Tampa and Dallas offices which successfully run Sage 100.
Bank reconciliation.
Journal entries.
