The Senior Accountant will support the CFO and Controller in managing compliance and 3rd party tax compliance professionals. We anticipate this position to be 30% compliance management and 70% general corporate accounting at the senior accountant level. This position will also assist management with monthly journal entries, reconciliations and maintaining the sales tax software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and work with external tax advisors
Implement and maintain sales tax software
Process monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax filings
Manage fixed assets
Manage corporate registrations
Process monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts
Process 3rd party product and services billing
Other projects as needed
Requirements:
BA/BS in Accounting or related field required
Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
CPA preferred
Corporate tax experience
Systems implementation experience and interest are valued
Project and deadline management
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills required
Strong organizational skills
Strong technical and analytical skills
