Accounting File Clerk Job Opening in Pelham, Alabama - Job Summary
The File Clerk will be positioned in the Accounting department reporting directly to the Controller. This position will assist with filing and administrative needs within the Accounting department.
Essential Job Duties
Filing of departmental documents
Matching AP invoices to check stubs for filing
Matching AR invoices to shipping documents for filing
Preparing file folders and labels for administrative projects
Moving and/or boxing files for storage
Assist with additional projects as needed and assigned by Controller.
Expected Hours of Work
Core hours of department are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a part-time position, averaging 20 hours a week. Flexibility available on start and end times but will be a set schedule.
Equipment Used
Computer ? MS Office Suite
Syspro ERP (as it relates to Accounting)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School diploma or equivalent required; Some college preferred
Attention to detail with a high commitment to accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
Ability to use general office equipment including copy machine, scanner and PC
Job Type : Part-time (20 hours a week)
Salary : $7.25-$9.50 depending on experience and/or education
