Sales Associate / Kitchen Designer Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team! You will sell cabinets to customers. This includes making product demonstrations, design of kitchen layouts using computer-aided drafting software, follow through with preparing orders, collecting payments and tracking distribution and delivery of product to customers. This position will also include a warehouse work. You must have good communication skills, be well-organized and detail oriented, and a team player.
Responsibilities:
Design kitchens for customers using our software
Sell Cabinets
Provide support of the sale as needed
Answer and respond to incoming calls
Warehouse work to breakdown and load orders as needed
Maintain a neat, clean and inviting showroom and warehouse
Qualifications
Sales experience in a retail setting
Proficient with MS Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task.
Experience with Retail Point of Sales (POS) systems preferred.
Stores are open M-Sat from 9-6. Must be able to work Saturday's and the occasional night to close out the month, or a big sale. Experience in some type of home remodeling product sales helpful but not required. Sales Associates are provided a base hourly rate plus commission.
