Independent Hair Product Sales Representative Job Opening in Frederick, Maryland - We are seeking an Independent Manufacturer's Representative with hair industry experience, who will be responsible for all sales activities in Frederick and Montgomery counties.
Ideal candidate is a high energy, focused individual who will be responsible for introducing a new high demand professional European hair product line to salons in the given areas. Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with salon owners, purchase managers and hair stylists.

Only candidates with hair product sales experience and proven experience in the hair industry will be considered for the position
Job Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Representative?s include:
Establish new business through analysis of assigned territory to identify new customers
Follow up on new leads
Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
Creating brand awareness with salons, stylists, and purchasing managers
Developing in-depth knowledge and expertise with regard to all product lines
Establish and maintain current/potential client relationships
Identify and resolve client concerns
Communicate with sales and management team for product sales coordination
Follow-up for payment collection
Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services
JOB REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for the Manufacturer Representative role, candidates must possess:
3 or more years of experience in sales, preferably in the hair industry
BA degree or equivalent combination of education, training or working experience.
In depth knowledge of distributors and salons within the territory
Excellent communication skills -- Must be able to build successful relationships with customers, build customer base, and possess an ability to understand and interpret customer needs
Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule
