Senior Accountant Job Opening in Fargo, North dakota - Senior Accountant
Join a progressive Accounting & Consulting firm with a proven track record of success. Now recruiting for a Senior Accountant to review and prepare tax returns for farm-related businesses, family-owned business, entrepreneurs and individuals.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Implement client?s requests from start to finish
Review tax returns prepared by staff and make recommendations
Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve tax-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
Possess and understanding of state and foreign tax issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting required
Advanced degree in Accounting or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience
Understanding of state and federal taxes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness
