National Sales Manager Job Opening in Manchester, New hampshire - Are you extremely passionate about healthy foods and active lifestyle and do you have a proven track record as a LOHAS brand Sales Leader? Kura, a New Zealand based grass fed dairy nutritional protein smoothie powder brand is looking for a National Sales Manager. This individual MUST have a demonstrable history of successful 5+ years sales management (key account and personnel responsibility) for a LOHAS consumer product, preferably in the nutrition, food/beverage or supplement field.

Importantly, you?ve already worked as a Regional Sales Manager and Key Account Manager, and have a proven track record of sales leadership and results at a healthy lifestyle brand.
MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for strategic key account relationships and goals; leading Joint Business Planning discussions.
Manages, coaches and mentors the sales organization to meet and exceed planned sales goals while maintaining Kura?s overall fiscal goals.
Responsible for all aspects of personnel management including hiring, training and performance
Analyzes retailer business, including competition, inventory, sales, merchandising, pricing, margin, product categories, and items. Introduces new items and works closely with the team to assure sell through.
Strategically studies retail landscape to determine areas of opportunity and uses this information to introduce new accounts.
Engages in cross-team communication with the Kura?s organization, acts as a point of contact for the sales organization facilitating communication.
Prepares and contributes to forecasting and projections.
Prepares and participates in shows, sales meetings, and representative meetings for each account. Follows through with the requested deliverables and information.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Outlook)
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:
A proven track record of sales success including 5+ years of Sales Management/Sales Leadership experience, personnel management and key account responsibility.
Preferable that candidate has a background and/or education in the nutrition field.
Responsible, dependable, self-motivated and engaging.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Charismatic communicator and strong listener
Must be able to travel ? car ownership required. Must have a valid drivers? license and auto insurance
DETAILS:
Position will be located in our Manchester, NH headquarters office.
Salaried plus performance incentives, may include nights and weekends for show/meetings, as needed.
Attend weekly conference calls to update managers on progress.
Moderate - Substantial travel required.
